AStar exists because tracking a real portfolio shouldn't mean checking three apps, keeping a spreadsheet of cost basis, and hoping you remember which account holds what before you sell.
Most traders don't keep every position at one brokerage. Between IRAs, taxable accounts, and whatever's offering the best commission or platform this year, a real portfolio is usually spread across three or four logins — and most tools only ever look at one of them at a time.
That gap shows up in ordinary ways: a wash sale that slips through because the repurchase happened at a different broker, a sector concentration that looks fine account-by-account but isn't once you add it all up, or a sell decision made without knowing which account holds the cheaper tax lot. None of that is a sign of carelessness — it's just what happens when the full picture only exists in your head.
AStar was built to hold that full picture instead, and to keep checking it against the same rules and risk tolerance you'd apply yourself, every day, without you having to open five tabs to do it.
Every alert and recommendation is informational. You decide what to act on — AStar never places a trade on its own.
AStar Trading LLC isn't a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or custodian. We build the monitoring layer, not the brokerage.
We never see or store your brokerage login credentials, and you can disconnect any account whenever you choose.
A strategy that fits your day-trading account probably doesn't fit your retirement account. AStar treats them separately, on purpose.
